ABOUT INDONESIAN DATA JOURNALISM AWARDS
Indonesian Data Journalism Awards (IDJA) initiative by Indonesian Data Journalism Network (IDJN), established in 2023 to honor excellence in data journalism across Indonesia. As the first award dedicated to data-driven reporting in the country, IDJA celebrates the creativity, skill, and impact of journalists and media organizations producing high-quality data journalism reports.
The creation of IDJA was driven by the recognition that data journalism in Indonesia often goes underappreciated, despite the production of exceptional reports by newsrooms nationwide. Beyond acknowledging these efforts, IDJA aspires to cultivate a thriving ecosystem that encourages the growth and innovation of data journalism in Indonesia.
