Formerly a journalist at Tempo and now working as an Environment Issues Editor at The Conversation Indonesia. Robby has experience in covering public policy, business, mining, energy, and environmental issues.

Wan Ulfa worked at Tirto.id as a journalist in the indepth team and as a partnership manager for collaborative reports. She was also a reporter at Bisnis Indonesia. In 2018, she completed her postgraduate studies in Data Journalism at Birmingham City University, UK. She won the Midlands Media Student Awards 2019 for her investigative report on essay mills in the UK. Currently, in addition to managing IDJN, Wan Ulfa teaches Data Journalism courses at Yayasan Pantau and works as a Senior Sub Editor at Glance.

Founded beritajogja.id in 2012, then pursued a career as a freelance journalist at merdeka.com and rappler.com until 2016. Awarded the Best Journalistic Work on Decent Work for Domestic Workers and the Elimination of Child Domestic Workers in 2016 by the ILO (International Labour Organization) and AJI (Alliance of Independent Journalists) Jakarta, and the Agrarian Reform Media Award 2018 by the Agrarian Reform Consortium. Focuses on agrarian issues, diversity, and human rights. Formerly worked at Tirto.id. Currently an editor at Project Multatuli.

Ellyne finished her undergraduate degree in economics at Universitas Advent Indonesia. She worked as Finance and Admin Coordinator at Yayasan Plan International Indonesia on its Disaster Risk Management Program before joining IDJN.

She worked as a journalist from 2012 to 2016. She began her career as a reporter at a local daily newspaper in Solo (Solopos), then moved to an economic and business newspaper (Bisnis Indonesia). During that time, she covered issues related to the stock market, trade, tourism, and entrepreneurship. She continued her career as a researcher and data analyst at Katadata.co.id (2018-2019). Currently, she actively advocates for digital rights and addresses online gender-based violence (OGBV) in Indonesia with the Southeast Asia Freedom of Expression Network (SAFEnet), while also working as a freelance analyst for several research and data companies.

He is a communication and development practitioner with experience working at TEMPO Institute and Plan International. He leads the business development of IDJN to bring data journalism to a wider audience.

Irma Garnesia is a researcher, fact-checker, and data journalism trainer who has helped local and national journalists in Indonesia develop data-driven reporting models in their newsrooms. As a newsroom researcher, Irma is accustomed to producing data-based reports on various topics and conducting popular research. Recently, she graduated from the master’s program in Media and Communication Science at Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany.

Debora has a keen interest in election issues and has worked as a reporter at Rumahpemilu.org. She was a journalist at the Indonesian Network for Investigative Journalism (Jaring.id) from 2016 to 2021. In addition to her work at IDJN, Debora is also an active freelance journalist.

Alumnus of the Study in the United States Institute program at Temple University, Philadelphia. Starting her journalism career at Tempo in 2014, she focused on topics of history, art, and cinema until becoming Arts Editor in 2021. She received a Chevening Scholarship for postgraduate studies in MA Social History of Art at the University of Leeds, UK. She serves as a mentor at Tempo Institute for writing and journalism classes. Additionally, she teaches film criticism classes and acts as a judge in film review competitions held by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Louis Lugas is a web developer and graphic designer who has worked on various infographics and both interactive and non-interactive visual journalism. Lugas has created a range of infographics, interactive articles, news games, and web games for various media outlets and NGOs in Indonesia and internationally. The scope of his work is highly varied, encompassing research, data scraping, mapping, programming, and writing. He has previously worked for Tirto.id and is currently employed at Deduktif.
